No. Many churches reject the supernatural elements in the Bible. They prefer modern scholarship and modern sensibilities to the authority of God's Word.
Yes it is. Without the authority of the Bible we only have man's opinions and thoughts which are constantly changing. The Bible is God's Word and it alone has God's unchanging authority.
The sermons and studies are firmly grounded in God's Word. We are not using the pulpit or class to give our own ideas or to give the latest fad in psychology.
Not really. To be sure there are some difficult passages that are interpreted differently by different believers, but in most important issues the Bible is clear. In the major issues if someone interprets it differently it is usually because they have an agenda.
The most important message is how a person can be forgiven, know God and have eternal life. Since we are sinners (Romans 3:23) we have none of those things on our own, but by turning in belief to the Lord Jesus Christ we can have forgiveness, a relationship with God and eternal life. Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Salvation means being forgiven, becoming one of God's children and having eternal life.
